Contributor Bio(s): Wong, Chi Fung: - Chi Fung Wong, an artist based in New York, was born in Macau and educated in Japan. He received his Ph.D. in Fine Art at the Kyushu Sangyo University of Japan before moving to New York City, where he completed a four year painting program at the National Academy School of Fine Art. Wong is a prolific and versatile artist adept at working with different art mediums, including oil, water-color, Sumi-ink, and pastel. His specialty is floral paintings embodied by Chinese, Japanese and Western aesthetic influences. He possesses a global sensibility and viewpoint in his art which successfully combines these influences. The artist has exhibited his artwork in Japan, USA, France and Australia.
He currently lives in New York, working as an artist. While his style of art-making has changed over the years, Wong continues to enchant the viewer.Blum, Lester: - Capitalizing on his innate sense of aesthetics, color, design, and balance developed during his years working in the fashion industry, Lester Blum began channeling his artistic talents into photographic and literary projects. As a photographer, Lester has exhibited and won several awards at numerous group and solo exhibitions throughout the United States. His work can be found in eight photography books conceived, edited and written by him. Recently, Lester has utilized the visual medium (photographs and video) to focus on various relevant social issues. To augment these visual representations and to add to the emotional impact, he has self-published three corresponding narrative fictional stories. His further literary endeavors include coauthoring a one-act play, Letting Go, and a children's book, Beyond the Swirl. Currently, he is collaborating on a Holocaust memoir, Run to Nowhere.
