All of our bargain books are brand new, perfectly readable and represent a tremendous value! The bargain books are, however, publisher overstocks and remainders that TRW purchases at deep discounts. As a result, they may have a small mark through the UPC bar code or a small mark on the side of the book. This is simply to mark the books so they cannot be sent back to a publisher. Because of this, bargain books are non returnable to TRW unless they are damaged. Please consider this before ordering.

These biographies of major players in the last, contested presidential election present their subjectsÆ lives as a series of activities and accomplishments, highlighting the positives and downplaying any controversies. The result is bland and uninspiring, but the books in this series may be useful for report writers. All have color and black-and-white photos and time lines; [cf2]Bush[cf1] contains a bibliography. Gr 3-6-In an easy-to-read style, this chapterless book covers the life of the First Lady from her childhood in Midland, TX, to her current life in Washington, DC. Sidebars discuss subjects such as "First Pets" and "A Second First Lady"-about two Bush women in the White House. Light blue circles throughout the text give "Fun Facts" that include her hobbies, favorite foods, etc. Full-color and black-and-white photos add to the presentation. A suitable introduction for reports and general reading.-Debbie Feulner, Northwest Middle School, Greensboro, NC Copyright 2001 Cahners Business Information.
