Publisher Description:
When being judged in the eyes of the law is only determined by what's on paper, you can appear to be a monster or a menace to society. In a court room it seems that the only thing that matters is what you've ever done wrong. When it comes to the judicial system I no all to well that it's not what actually occurred that matters, it's what you can prove occurred on any incident that's brought in front of a judge. This book is to show the world that anybody can be found in this situation of fighting for your freedom and being dehumanized. Life is only as regular as we as individuals no it to be and everybody has a story. This is not a a scripted t.v show and once you're charged with a crime begins the count down of you against them. Nobody, outside those that love and no you, care what the truth is or what happens rather you beat a case or not. Hopefully you're able to retain a paid lawyer for your case because that'll be the only person trying to paint you in a better light. A hopeless life is the judicial system for those with limited funds, for that means innocent or not you could be facing jail time. I'm here to shed light on the many people who have made mistakes in life and ended up having to do time and now have a background that they can never escape. No matter how much you've accomplished in life, that will never make it to the court room. The courts are set up to only bring up bad moments in your life, so to the world you look like a menace, and for those who are actually a menace the courts do not care about how you became that way like they show on television. Life is and will always be full of lessons and sometimes you have to learn by actually messing up but they won't tell you that (especially when you're young and naive) misdemeanors and felonies add up, so once you start pleading guilty to things it will follow you for life (at least as an adult). This book is for those who have been through it because you're not alone. This book is for those who have witnessed someone they love go through it, you are appreciated more then words could ever express. This book is also for those who have nether been through the judicial system nor knows anyone who has, for sometimes you are the ones who will be placed on the jury with someone's life in your hands and you are the most important person for someone at the moment, so for you this could be the insight needed to stop the cycle of being over punished because of lack of funds or what someone's background is. I hope I can give you a clear insight on how 5 seconds can change anybody's life PROCEEDS WILL BE PLACED ON SOMEONE WHO'S INCARCERATED BOOKS AT THE END OF EACH MONTH.
