This selection contains some of his most emblematic verses, influenced by popular lyrics and a combination of extreme sobriety and formal simplicity with the most sincere and human emotion. The poems that stand out in this anthology, are those dedicated to a landscape that borders on dreams and love.

'The gray olive trees,
the white roads.
The sun has sucked
the color from the field;
and even your memory
it is drying it for me
this soul of the dust
of bad days.'"
