Contributor Bio(s): Veldsman, Theo: - Prof Theo H Veldsman Theo Veldsman is regarded as one of the thought-leaders in South Africa with respect to people management and the psychology of work. He is the author of nearly 200 technical/consulting reports/articles covering the abovementioned areas. He is the author of two books, and has contributed to nine book chapters. At present he is Professor and Head of Department since 2008, of the Department of Industrial Psychology and People Management, Faculty of Management, University of Johannesburg. He consults with many leading South African companies as well as organisations overseas. He is also a Life Achievement Award winner from the SABPP.Johnson, Andrew: - Dr Andrew J Johnson Andrew Johnson is the General Manager of Eskom's Leadership Institute. He has followed a career with Edcon, MTN, Transnet, Anglovaal Mining and the JSE. Andrew held various non-executive directorships. Andrew was awarded the HR Director of the Year Award by IPM, and a Lifetime Achievement Award by the SABPP. An industrial Psychologist by profession, he holds an MSc in Occupational Psychology (Nottingham) and a PhD in Industrial Psychology from the University of Johannesburg. He has consulted to other state-owned entities, private companies, and African and BRICS utilities.
