Publisher Description: This book traces the history of Colchester Royal Grammar School from the first mention of a town school (the probable lineal antecedent of CRGS) in 1128 right up to the present day. This is the first comprehensive history of the school ever published and charts the fascinating story of the evolution of the school from its humble beginnings to the centre of academic excellence that it has become. |
