Publisher Description: Two beautifully designed short works by Allan Bennett and Aleister Crowley; A Note on Genesis and Liber 65. A Note on Genesis, (an essay by Crowley associate Allan Bennett with a preface and notes by Crowley), according to the Author, is "one of the most remarkable studies on the Hebrew Quabalah known to me." In this work, the author claims to be a pupil who was granted this knowledge, "a beautiful garden," by an unnamed master. Liber 65, (Cordis Cincti Serpente) is a beautifully-written, free-verse poem in five parts each part composed of 65 stanzas. Its meaning, (and its purpose), is up to the reader to discern. Both works are exceptional examples of the Literary Craft. |
