April is passionate about teaching parents of young children and educators how to have difficult conversations about diversity and inclusion at home and at school. April holds a Bachelor of Arts in American Ethnic Studies and Political Science and a Masters of Public Administration from the University of Washington and a Juris Doctorate from the University of California-Hastings College of the Law.
