All of our bargain books are brand new, perfectly readable and represent a tremendous value! The bargain books are, however, publisher overstocks and remainders that TRW purchases at deep discounts. As a result, they may have a small mark through the UPC bar code or a small mark on the side of the book. This is simply to mark the books so they cannot be sent back to a publisher. Because of this, bargain books are non returnable to TRW unless they are damaged. Please consider this before ordering.

Contributor Bio(s): Helen Perelman enjoys candy from all parts of Sugar Valley, but jellybeans, red licorice, and gummy fish are her favorites. She worked in a children’s bookstore and was a children’s book editor…but sadly she never worked in a candy store. She now writes full time in New York City where she lives with her husband and two daughters. Visit her online at HelenPerelman.com and CandyFairies.com.
Reviewed by Horn Book Guide Reviews (Horn Book Guide Reviews 2014 Fall)
These saccharine chapter books about the adventures of a group of fairy friends from Candy Kingdom focus too completely on the candy theme, sacrificing good storytelling--there are only so many candies the text can mention before becoming repetitive. Black-and-white illustrations in each chapter do little to enhance the lackluster narratives. Likable characters and accessible vocabulary may appeal to resistant readers. [Review covers these Candy Fairies titles: Bubble Gum Rescue, Marshmallow Mystery, and A Valentine's Surprise.]
