All of our bargain books are brand new, perfectly readable and represent a tremendous value! The bargain books are, however, publisher overstocks and remainders that TRW purchases at deep discounts. As a result, they may have a small mark through the UPC bar code or a small mark on the side of the book. This is simply to mark the books so they cannot be sent back to a publisher. Because of this, bargain books are non returnable to TRW unless they are damaged. Please consider this before ordering.

In Bases Loaded, best pals Raymond and Graham play Little League baseball; Cool Campers finds them at summer camp, where they resolve to become the coolest kids there. Both books bounce along on waves of good humor, offering congenial stories for young intermediate-level readers. The copious black-and-white drawings are reminiscent of Dav Pilkey's Captain Underpants series. Gr 3–5—Best friends Raymond and Graham are hopeful that they will win the Little League championship as well as the affections of their prospective grade-school crushes, and maybe even enjoy an entire school week with a substitute teacher. But there are a few obstacles in the way, including a bully, an embarrassing mishap involving yellow Gatorade, and the unfortunate circumstance of Raymond's mom being the sub. Filled with tame humor, a few family high jinks, and baseball plays aplenty, this story will likely appeal to young baseball fans and anyone who enjoyed Raymond and Graham Rule the School (Viking, 2008).—Jessica Marie, Renton Public Library, WA
