Publisher Description:
I zoomed out the logical blind spots of atheist and illuminated where we are in the Universe.I have many atheist friends, colleagues, and acquaintance than the religious. Most of my life, I spent with them. I chatted with them, ate out with them, talked about the social issues, and worked together. Some are indifferent to the religion, and some look for the religious gate, but they could not reach, as I had experienced before. The failure of the spiritual journey was painful. Through the years, I barely became a Christian. I was the stubborn type to accept the religious thoughts.Last year, I came to know a cancer patient. Looking at the suffering and withering, I felt speechless aches on human destiny. I wished him to be religious to lighten his burdened mind, but he could not accept it. I saw his mind and the thinking way were stuck in the certain beliefs. His suffering reminded me of numerous atheist friends. From my affection toward my dear atheist friends, I desired to do something practically good. Not to be rude or hurt their way of life I wanted to express my heart indirectly and softly. I now, present this book to the atheist friends, especially to the one whose time is not long enough on the earth. I desired the quick and practical assistance for their fresh view from their general belief, urging them to see the ontological ground of humankind. I pointed out their logical blind spot through the communication between the characters in the book. I did not intend to lead my friends to the specific destination such as Christianity. I left the conclusion open. I hope they develop their reasoning and draw the right conclusion. The current day's majority believe knowledge will eventually save humankind with the civilization development. However, the pursuit of knowledge is tiring and endless. It is insatiable. We, human, could not give up the pursuit of knowledge as far as human exists. This book points out its structural limit why we could not lean on the knowledge. Also, I hope this book increases the communication between the religious and the non-religious. We are all alone before the Universe. My wish is when you face up the Universe; this book could be a companion to think about the ontological ground of us. My blessing and May Christ be with you on the new journey.+ greeting from Heshin
