Contributor Bio(s): Tomaszeski, Corbin: - Corbin's passion for food and family runs deep. Raised on a farm outside of Edmonton, Alberta, one of his earliest memories is the smell of baking bread in his grandmother's kitchen. With 30 years of culinary experience, Corbin has worked at some of the world's largest hotels and was the host of Food Networks shows such as Dinner Party Wars, Restaurant Takeover, and The Incredible Food Race. He is also an active member of the Canadian Federation of Chefs and Cooks, an ambassador for KitchenAid, and volunteers for organizations including the Canadian Cancer Society, the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Canada, and Osteoporosis Canada. His first cookbook, In Good Company, celebrates his philosophy of food, fun, and family. He currently lives in Toronto with his wife and three sons.Geir, Karen: - Karen Geier is a Toronto-based writer and food enthusiast. When she's not working on fermentation and bread experiments in her urban kitchen, Karen writes for media outlets like The Guardian and corporate clients. With Corbin, Karen has written over 100 articles on cooking. |
