Contributor Bio(s): Bright, J. E.: - J. E. Bright is the writer of more than 120 novels, novelizations, non-fiction books, interactive storybook apps, and novelty books for children and young adults. He lives in the Clear Lake City neighborhood of Houston, TX with his cranky but cuddly female cat, Mabel, and his friendly puppy, Henry. His full name is Joseph Edward Bright, and he was born on November 12, 1969, at NYU Medical Center in New York, NY. He grew up in Spring Valley, NY (which was later renamed Wesley Hills), and went to Hempstead Elementary School, Kakiat Junior High School, Ramapo Senior High School, New York University (BA, English/Writing), and the University of Denver (MA, English/Writing). He was a children's book editor for almost 20 years, at publishing companies including Scholastic, HarperCollins, and Simon & Schuster. Now he writes full time. J.
