Publisher Description:

Felicia Robinson smacks her rival across the face with the loudest of slaps. Her victim, a girl twice Felicia's height and weight, helplessly staggers back.

"That's what happens to anybody who disses me " says Felicia.

Felicia balls her fists as she watches the girl slowly regain her composure. Then Felicia makes a quick move with her arms, causing the girl to flinch.

"Come on " says Felicia.

The girl warily approaches. She is in pain. She holds the side of her head as she steps towards Felicia. Her eyes wander aimlessly. Her face is drenched with nervous sweat. Just as the girl appears to make a definitive fighting move, Felicia's grandmother, Edith, intervenes.

"Leave that girl alone If you don't get your butt over here, I'm gonna knock you into next Wednesday " says Edith.

Felicia frowns as the adrenaline suddenly drains from her veins. The relieved victim slumps on the ground and leans against a tree.

"When are you going to stop this, huh? You've been nothing but trouble I can't take this anymore Who are you? I don't even know you anymore, Felicia " says Edith.

...Felicia sits quietly during the drive home, perfectly masking her inner rage. She does not know God yet. She does not know His peace yet. She does not know that one day, God will give her a surreal opportunity to repent, heal and change.
