Publisher Description:
A model is known to be a blank canvas. Someone who's job is to help show off or enhance the product of another artist. However, as Brittney Lorraine enters a room, there is more to her than just a blank canvas; she is practically a work of art already. Standing strong with her porcelain skin and bright pink hair before a camera with confidence wasn't something she was always used to. Before becoming known as Brittney Lorraine, she was born known as Brittney Haren from Farmingdale, New Jersey. She is of Irish, Scottish, French, English and American Indian decent. Brittney was born and raised on a farm with her parents and her grandparents. Brittney was that one lucky little girl who always wanted a pony, and had one Brittney was known as a little tom boy, getting scolded at for playing in the mud and anything else little girls weren't "supposed" to do. At the age of 9, Brittney and her family moved to Toms River in New Jersey, which is where she currently resides. Not as exciting as her farm life, but she's pretty happy where she is. Brittney has a younger sister who she is very close with. Like most siblings, her little sister enjoys learning from her big sister and Brittney enjoys learning from her little sister just as much. Growing up, Brittney kept a close relationship with her mother. At a young age, Brittney was closer with her mother than her father; but as she got older, their bond and their relationship became much stronger. Brittney is also very close with her grandmother, who gives love and support and pushes Brittney to be the best she can be. Brittney deeply appreciates the support she receives from everyone around her. Having always been a true artist, Brittney was passionate about makeup artistry and hair styling. She graduated from the Paul Mitchell School in Jersey Shore shortly after graduating high school. At 19, a friend asked Brittney to help her with a photography project. At the time, Brittney wasn't too thrilled with the idea of having her photo taken. But for the sake of helping a friend, Brittney went along and decided to give it a go. After the mini shoot was over, Brittney was happy she did it. She felt very confident, and loved the idea of expressing herself through images. This would be the start of Brittney Lorraine; a name comprised from her first and middle name, keeping close to her own originality. Inside we follow her through the lens of photographer Michael Enoches as he learns why she is fast becoming one of the most sought after New Jersey models around. This is the 6 Day journey between me and her as we try and capture it for you to see.
