The Reading Warehouse

Sam West was watching as Charles Wright-Smith stood in the middle of the indoor school at Lake House patiently coaching a group of enthusiastic young children over a small show jumping course. Her oldest son, nine year old Joshua was proudly riding Thunderbird, the pony on whom his father, Tom had experienced so many successes and the eight year old triplets, Oliver, Oscar and Orlando, as alike as three peas in a pod were listening to every word Charles was telling them, whilst six year old Rosie was riding round the edge of the school with her special friend Gus Wright-Smith.
Tom had been abroad with his horses for the past two months but tomorrow he would be home and Sam couldn't wait for the help she hoped he would give, helping her to control the over exuberant triplets, not least Oscar's none too savoury language and his vivid imagination, which seemed to have grown more and more out of hand during his father's absence and which was about to test Tom's patience to the limit.
Fortunately for Sam, she couldn't see into the future and she had no idea what trials and tribulations lay ahead for her rumbustious boys as she counted the hours to Tom's fast approaching homecoming.
