An engaged woman, fun-loving Grace, struggles between the familiarity of her hometown and the reality that her fianc was pulled over by a local police officer and the events that unravel her life from this fateful night. You will learn how her fianc was beaten by the police to the point where she hears him stop breathing from the police officer's recording device.

Follow Grace's desperate pursuits of waking up in the peaceful place she loved for years, to a very different place than she could not accept or recognize. Grace's up-bringing constantly reminds her that what happened to her fianc was just plain wrong, she seeks ways to right-the-wrong. During the ordeal, she is forced to confront the facades of officials she voted for, who to trust, who's really in-charge, what really happens in prisons as she sees first-hand and when to keep her mouth shut.
