Bott went to school for computers and has worked in the mainframe computer industry living on the west and east coast. He now works in Tooele, Utah where his studio is located. His perfectionist approach is evident in his skillfully photographed images. He has collaboratively and painstakingly designed, developed, and redesigned his lighting and studio interior to create exactly what is needed to record and document each bike. Frank J. Bott has worked on an extensive project to photograph and document unique motorcycles and their amazing story, the first of which is published in his book Motorcycle Porn: Portraits and Stories.
