Contributor Bio(s): Sims, Sean: -

Sean was brought up in Middlesbrough in the north-east of England and studied illustration at Cleveland College of Art & Design, before moving to sunny Brighton where he now lives & works with his partner and two children Stanley & Mabel. He has allways had a passion for mid-twentieth century design & illustration and has had a big in uence on his style of illustration. Often described as having a style that 'makes you smile' his big, bold & bright retro style illustrations have been used across the globe on everything from children's books, magazines, greetings cards, giftwrap, packaging, toys and fabrics, many for major international clients. As well as being an illustrator, Sean has a passion collecting mid-twentieth century design and is never happier than getting up bright and early on a Sunday morning trawling the local car-boot sales for hidden treasure to add to his huge collection.
