Female Voices from the Bible contains poems of rhyme and free verse about various women who proved themselves of courage and action to accomplish an act that others could not. In this volume, we see pictures of daring, faithful, prayerful women leading the way, often when a man would not. In a time when it was supposed to be a man's world, women proved that they had the motive, the strength, and the willingness to accomplish what needed to be done. Today's movement among women in leadership can be seen first in females of the Bible.
