Reviewed by Horn Book Guide Reviews (Horn Book Guide Reviews 1996)
The reader is invited to go with Toby Belfer to her cousin's bar mitzvah. The treatment of this significant event is superficial, though some minimal information is conveyed. Unattractive illustrations feature cartoonlike figures who all look alike, and the plot line is nonexistent. Copyright 1998 Horn Book Guide Reviews
