Publisher Description:
If there was and is a genuine possibility of some kind of healing taking place with all of the humbling incidents of disrespect and various degrees of wrong that has taken place on some occasions, it may further very well mean that there may be room for taking out of the box kinds of steps towards participating in blessing this scenario in some manner in attempting to making things a little better. The situation of reference has to do with how interesting it is for some scenarios that has greatly impacted those before us and how it is even presently occurring on more than one occasion in some instances. This is also the momentum that may be connected with the photos on the front cover of this publication and the original title of this publication itself. The photos on the front cover are really two images of some physical scars that were attached to some pretty serious life experiences. These life experiences may also reflect a needed interaction with being in touch more so with behavior that was considered to be criminal or a crime that lead to the kinds of physical scars that were identified in the photo of reference. However, one other interesting observation that may be considered an important perspective here is that healing took place and the situations were dealt with as they should have been to some degree up to the point of the photos being taken. Of course, further healing is achieved in this particular scenario to the point of bringing about these particular healed physical scars indicated on the front cover as referenced. It is also necessary to continue this momentum with the title that I have been convicted to use as the theme of this original publication suggest. For reasons of clarity, it is entitled: Crime -N- Null - Just Us and Healing. Likewise, the title of this publication is focused on the areas of: 1) crime, 2) "N," 3) Null, 4) just us and 5) healing. Crime refers to an action, behavior or participation by an individual, individuals and even a systemic entity that goes outside of what is considered to be legal or even ethical in some regards that is viewed as the rule, law or order being violated or even broken in this instance. The Phrase "N" in this particular instance also refers to the term "in" but for reasons of emphasis is being utilized creatively to get the intended point across to the reader and willing participant throughout this publication. The utilization of the word "null" speaks to the worthlessness of potential crime or criminal behavior being done from an out of the box perspective. It could very well be associated with whoever is in control of the particular system that sets the standard for what is criminal and what is not criminal. It could also mean what those or whoever dictates how individuals or even matters within a particular system will benefit or be impacted by the designated behavior or action identified as being a crime and by whom. Of course, this will be looked closer at as this publication progresses. With this thought humbly in mind, this publication will attempt to bring light in an out of the box kind of manner to the potential issue involving some perspectives of crime that historically and culturally have not been looked upon in that kind of a way. It in particular will be delved into from a commentary of a fifth generation African American, an ordained itinerant elder of a very historical Black Church Denomination in the USA, and community organizer, fourth generation African American that happens to have a M.S. and B.S. in the academic discipline of Criminal Justice along with other relative training, experiences, disciplines and fact finding interactions.
