Contributor Bio(s): Dobrow, Larry: - Larry Dobrow has written about sports for CBSSports.com, American Way, and San Antonio magazine, among other publications, and about a range of entertainment and media topics for MM&M, MediaPost, Advertising Age, AARP, and Sound & Vision. He studied at the Arts University Bournemouth before undertaking numerous international illustration projects within children's picture books and educational publications. The energy and excitement of major league baseball was a subject matter that Damien could not turn down, due to his love of American sports and the artistic challenge of capturing the athletic movement on paper. Damien works in both traditional and digital methods to bring these stars of baseball to life, using a few fluid pencil marks to highlight the power that these athletes have. He lives in Cornwall, England. |
