Contributor Bio(s): Warren, Harold: - Harold F. Warren was a native of Burke County, NC. He earned a B.A. in Philosophy from Berea College in 1957. He began as a featured writer for the Charlotte Observer in 1969 where he wrote many articles focused on the Western North Carolina region. He passed away on July 30, 2013 in Charlotte, NC.
