Contributor Bio(s): Semaan, Jessica: - Born and raised in Lebanon, writer Jessica Semaan moved to the US at age 24 to attend Stanford Business School. After a successful stint at Airbnb, Jessica founded The Passion Co.: a five-week program that helps people develop their passions. Now a resident of both San Francisco and Beirut, Jessica spends most of her time contributing to Medium, where she's a top writer in the categories of life, love, psychology, and poetry. Also a part-time instructor at Stanford Design School and a cofounder of 11 Empowered -- a non-profit that supports organizations in developing countries focused on empowering girls and women -- Jessica is currently pursuing a master's degree in interpersonal psychotherapy. |
