Publisher Description:
In GIRLS ACTING CATTY, we return to Annabelle Stevens, who has mastered boy training and even taught her friends how to deal with boys. Better yet, Pepper is behaving and Annabelle is finally used to living with Dweeble. At least she is until her mom and Dweeble announce their engagement. The news throws Annabelle for a loop. Marriage seems so permanent, and suddenly her mom and Dweeble start bickering over wedding plans. Then Annabelle develops her first crush - on Jason, her soon-to-be stepbrother.
Things also get difficult at school, but this time it's because of some girls. The popular crowd has turned their attention on Annabelle and her friends, and their meanness is different from the boys - more insidious, involving gossip, exclusion, and general cattiness. The GIRLS are ACTING CATTY.

Contributor Bio(s): Margolis, Leslie: - Leslie Margolis is also the author of Boys Are Dogs, the first Annabelle Stevens book. She lives with her family in Brooklyn, New York. Sadly, she is allergic to cats.
