Contributor Bio(s): Walsh, Maryrose: - Maryrose Walsh has taught every grade-level (except first), from Montessori pre-school through Grade 8 Language Arts and Social Studies, over the last two decades. She has taught in many locations as well, including New York, Chicago, Spain, and Puerto Rico. She is currently a teacher in the Chester Consolidated School District in New Jersey. Having spent five years in 2nd grade and five years in 3rd grade, Maryrose is now moving up to 5th grade to teach ELA and Social Studies. She has earned a Master's Degree in Early Childhood Education through the College of St. Elizabeth in Morristown, New Jersey, an Advanced Certificate in Comparative European Social Studies through the University of Amsterdam in The Netherlands, and completed her undergraduate degree from St. Joseph's College in Brooklyn, New York.
