Publisher Description: The world has seen the disappearance of half of the total population. There are people who have been traumatized and others who started seeing something religious in the whole situation. Once the Avengers came into the spotlight, so did the knowledge of gods, aliens, different creation stories, wizards, other civilizations, higher beings, and things beyond classification. And then there was Thanos: the Titan farmer who got a large number of people to seriously consider genocide as a viable. logical solution to resource distribution issues. Seeking balance and fair resource distribution is a noble goal, but doing it through mass murder is not acceptable. However, this is light of Revelation and Armageddon brings up many ethical and theological issues. The Book of Revelation shows a future where balance is brought back through violence, destruction, death, and bloodshed. The book ends on a positive, happy note. Sometimes, that is overshadowed by the actual events that brought about the new world. Thanos was not part of God's Plan for this Earth, but he still challenged our comfort and preconceived notions. |
