Learn the Fastlines, understand how they are created and use over the audio backing tracks. Full solo and projects for further development are included.

Audio available as a download. The Fastline Guitar Method Intermediate includes II-V-I lines in both arpeggio and scalar forms, chromatic movement of lines, playing through minor progressions, use of altered tones and more. A complete solo included with play along facility.

There are ten project ideas included for you to get a whole new range of ideas out of the Fastlines and solo presented. The five backing tracks contain standard jazz progressions in various styles and keys. Download link is available for your to use on your own devices.


Contributor Bio(s): Ged, Brockie: - Ged Brockie has worked as a professional musician for over thirty years and had the privilege of working with some of the finest musicians from around the world. Ged has worked in a variety of musical situations throughout Scotland, the UK and Europe. Performance work has included Royal Scottish National Orchestra, the Orchestra Royal Scottish Ballet, Carl Davis, the Scottish Guitar Quartet, concert solo/band work, tours, West End shows on tour, pro/amateur shows, music festivals, TV/radio appearances, session work, educational workshops, music industry appearances, corporate music, cover band work. Other work has included Education & Industry Programs: Tutored guitar, composition, writing for film and technology at all levels from high school through F.E. (further education colleges) to higher education (university), created an HND in Jazz guitar for the Scottish Qualifications Authority, commissioned by the SQA for bespoke theory papers as well as sample examples for Higher National qualifications. Projects: Developed/co-ran the Jazz UK international summer school, pioneered the European arm of the Pacific Northwest Film Scoring Program led by double Emmy winning composer Hummie Mann. Part of a small team that created the Edinburgh Guitar & Music Festival in 2013. Composition: Compositional work includes two full albums to date with the Ged Brockie Band (18 titles), Three albums with the Scottish Guitar Quartet (11 titles), two albums with the Alex Yellowlees band, two indy feature films, a commission from the Scottish Parliament for music to accompany an HD film about the Scottish Parliament, a fringe show, various adverts for TV and media.
