Specifically, it is a critical edition--based upon all identifiable manuscripts--and complete, annotated translation of the Dānakānda ("Book on Gifting"), the fifth section of the encyclopedic Krtyakalpataru (c. 1114-1154) of Laksmīdhara and the earliest extant dānanibandha.
