Publisher Description: Evie's mummy knows best when it comes to what Evie should eat. The only problem is, Evie doesn't know that. Despite cooking her delicious meals all day, do you think that Evie's mummy can get Evie to eat anything but cheese? A light hearted reflection of the troubles that lots of parents go through at meal times. They have the best intentions, but sometimes intentions don't get them over the line. Cheese does though |
Contributor Bio(s): Chan, Amy: - AirTaskerJenkins, Haydn: - Haydn was born in Nowra, New South Wales. Since then he has lived up and down the east coast of Australia, attending eight different schools and two universities. He now resides on the Gold Coast. While moving around can make a kid feel isolated, Haydn felt that it built character and also a healthy group of Facebook friends. Haydn was diagnosed with PTSD in 2017 following the birth of his second child. During his rehabilitation, the therapist suggested that he do something that kept him grounded. As a school teacher, marketer and copy writer, writing had always been something he did, so it was decided that would be his grounding. He started writing stories for his kids. Touted as the best male author on the Gold Coast by his immediate family, Haydn brings to his books a narrative that most parents can relate to and that all kids will enjoy. |
