Pip's rhyming series about Squishy McFluff: The Invisible Cat! was inspired by her daughter, who discovered her own imaginary kitten as a toddler.Hughes, Laura: - Originally from Bath, Laura Hughes studied illustration at Kingston University and graduated in 2005. She has recently illustrated the River Rose series by Kelly Clarkson, and her first solo picture book We're Going on an Egg Hunt, was published by Bloomsbury in 2018. When not drawing, Laura loves to curate art exhibitions.
