We Take School POs
All of our bargain books are brand new, perfectly readable and represent a tremendous value! The bargain books are, however, publisher overstocks and remainders that TRW purchases at deep discounts. As a result, they may have a small mark through the UPC bar code or a small mark on the side of the book. This is simply to mark the books so they cannot be sent back to a publisher. Because of this, bargain books are non returnable to TRW unless they are damaged. Please consider this before ordering.

Reviewed by Horn Book Guide Reviews (Horn Book Guide Reviews 2009 Spring)
This series discusses the various parts of a plant: leaves, stems, roots, seeds, flowers, and fruit. The colorful photographs are more engaging than the writing style. Though the texts use simple sentence structures, they are choppy, and some of the plant-specific terms, lacking Spanish-language correlaries, are difficult to understand. Each book ends with a "spot the difference" activity. Glos., ind. [Review covers these Encuentra las diferencias titles: [cf2]Flores[cf1], [cf2]Frutos[cf1], [cf2]Hojas[cf1], [cf2]Raices[cf1], [cf2]Semillas[cf1], and [cf2]Tallos[cf1].] Copyright 2009 Horn Book Guide Reviews.

Each book begins with the same general information about what plants are and what they need in order to grow. Vibrant photographs in a clean layout and sparse, choppy text reveal attributes--size, shape, color, texture--of specific plants. At the end, readers are invited to "spot the difference" between two plants that were previously discussed. Glos., ind.
